McGregor v Mayweather £77!!!
So I've seen on TWITTER that apparently the McGregor v Mayweather fight is looking to be sold for PPV at £77, which is a bit if a liberty for a freakshow fight. Now I am a huge fight fan, both MMA and Boxing and for me to part with that sort of wedge, they needs to be a serious undercard, which you'd think they'd start announcing now.

My opinion of the fight is it'll be a boring plod fest where McGregor tries what elite level boxers have tried and failed to do in the past and KO Mayweather and then run out of steam quickly, only for Floyd to cruise to a points victory. From a betting perspective, I'm going for a 5th round Mayweather win by way of KO.

If there's no decent undercard, there's no chance I'm parting with £77 quid.

That's about the third made up price I've seen.

How's about everyone calms down, ignores TWITTER and waits for Sky to announce it?

PS. I won't be watching the fight.

Its fake!

They haven't even signed up to who will be showing it yet.

ITV Box Office, BT Sport & Sky Sports all want it

Re: McGregor v Mayweather £77!!!
Is that an official announcement of the price or the same speculation that was kicked around last week, based on the US prices?

If so, I read somewhere that there is a PPV cap on Sky in the uk of £30 I think. That may be bollocks though.

But yep - no way am I shelling out that amount, whatever the undercard.

I did put the caveat of 'TWITTER' and 'IF' to point out that I have not seen any official announcement.

Whether I'm in Geordieland or not, if there's a decent undercard and a reasonable price, I'll tune in.

Any PPV prices are a piss take really considering what people already pay for their sports packages.

£77 to watch a guy who has never boxed before, fuck me anyone who pays that is a bit thick in my book.
